Louis Andersen serves as the executive leader of the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association, and the company’s chief executive officer of managed-care operations. Andersen brings 30 years of leadership in the health care arena to his current assignment. Previously, he was CEO of Coventry Health Care of Nebraska, served in numerous executive roles, including president of Health Data Management Company, and was senior VP of mergers and acquisitions at United Health Group. Andersen received his Master of Business Administration from New York’s Columbia University Graduate School of Business, and received his undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Nebraska Lincoln.
Mark A. Knoll, D.C.
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Mark Knoll is the chief medical officer for SecureCare. Before that Dr. Knoll spent over 30 years practicing chiropractic in Nebraska. As chief medical officer, Dr. Knoll chairs SecureCare’s credentialing and clinical review committee’s and is a member of the quality committee. He is also a member of the credentialing committee at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska. Dr. Knoll received his doctorate from Logan College of Chiropractic and attended undergraduate school at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Erick Alvarez joined SecureCare in 2018 as the physical therapy medical director. Mr. Alvarez has worked in both clinical practice and managed physical medicine for nearly 20 years. He has worked as a site coordinator and clinical director in outpatient physical therapy practice and has a vast experience in various clinical settings including outpatient physical therapy, post-surgical rehabilitation, home health pediatrics, worker’s compensation/industrial setting, utilization management and telerehabilitation. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Florida International University in Miami, Florida.
