ATTENTION Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota Providers ONLY:

MHCP enrollment is mandatory.

All providers and clinics must be enrolled with Minnesota Health Care Programs (MHCP), administered by DHS, before participation with BCBSMN can be considered. MHCP enrollment is required under the 21st Century Cures Act and Minnesota state requirements for participation in Managed Care Organization (MCO) networks.

This applies to all new clinics and all providers (including those joining existing clinics).

Credentialing may proceed; however, BCBSMN participation will not be processed until MHCP enrollment is complete and confirmed.

To enroll, visit the DHS MHCP enrollment page and select “Enrollment process for managed care organization (MCO) network providers.”
